Debi's work was described by one judge as "The most incredible watercolor painting that I have ever seen!"
In 1999, Debi quit her job as a nurse in the operating room to paint full-time. In a few short years, she has catapulted into national acclaim. Her work has appeared in more than eighty juried exhibitions across the nation, many leading art magazines and Splash - Best of Watercolor book. Now, Debi is setting her sites on a new subject, one very dear to her heart - Painting America - scenes of small town life.
Debi teaches watercolor classes and workshops and has judged many exhibitions in her area. Debi is a signature or juried artist member of many art groups (Allied Artists of America, the International Guild of Realism, the American Artists Professional League, PWS, TWS, BWS, PWCS).
